If you’ve never been to Austin, there’s one thing you should be aware of. The birds. During certain times of year and certain times of day, they plague downtown. They are everywhere. It can be actually frightening to walk outside sometimes. There are times that we hear them flying on and off of the roof in huge swarms.

One night while leaving work at dusk I snapped these on my seagull. 120 film.

SXSW

I worked a bunch during SXSW this year. Not doing photography, but actual work, so I didn’t get a lot of photos. This is my favorite photo I took during that time. I hope take some time off next year during SXSW to see some good free shows and post tons of work.
